The room is built around the bed: a double with a padded headboard, a small table and a lamp on each side, and yellow curtains hung behind it. The floor is bare wooden plank. The only other photo shows the property at night, with clear domes and wooden cabins set among very tall trees, joined by a boardwalk and stone steps.

This is a private room for two. The photos cover the bed and the grounds only, so there is nothing here yet about the bathroom or the rest of the room.

Safety in Dharamkot

Dharamkot has hosted long-stay travellers for decades, and the cafes on the main lane stay open until about 11 at night. The gaps are practical ones: one small pharmacy and no clinic in the village, so anything beyond the basics means a walk down to McLeod Ganj, and anything urgent means Delek Hospital's 24-hour emergency ward further down the hill.
